Making Progress on Strict Muscle Up

I’m struggling to master the false grip. I can’t seem to extend my arms fully and keep the grip. As a progression, I’m gripping the rings with a closed fist to keep my wrist on top of the bar. I’m pretty close to locked out here, but when I bring my fingers over the ring I can’t keep the grip with straight arms.
